<What is a strut bar? >
While the car is running, the force applied to it from the outside (input from the road surface) causes
its body to bend, twist, and distort at an invisible level.
So, what happens when the body warps?
By allowing the body to flex to a certain extent, the body absorbs shocks from the road surface, which
can lead to improved comfort.
However, when the body is distorted, the force that should be transmitted to the road surface is also absorbed, leading to a decline in cornering performance and traction performance.
Therefore, in order to enjoy sports driving, it is essential to increase the body rigidity, and one of the easiest and most effective ways to do this is to install a front strut bar.
The area around the strut tower that fixes the suspension
is susceptible to input from the road surface, and this has a particularly large effect on handling, especially at the front where steering is performed.

Minor fitment issue
There is some minor interference with the plastic cowling which prevents the corner push tabs from engaging. I "solved" that issue with cable tie buckles (aka zip tie rivets). There are washers between the shock tower and the cowl (search for part 55701 to see what I am referring to). This brace will fill the roll of the washers. Have I noticed any difference in steering response? Not really. I don't drive the car hard and the steering feel is already pretty dead. But I like the idea of stiffening up the chassis to reduce long term fatigue.
