Completely redesigned to fit 3 different vehicles. Package includes Cat Shield, installation hardware, tamper-proof screw kit, Cat Shield Protected sticker, and detailed installation guide.

Our Prius Gen 3 Cat Shield™ Version 2 has been redesigned and is now completely bolt-on. This shield fits all 2010-2015 Prius Liftback and Prius Plug-In Trims, 2012-2017 Prius V, and 2011-2017 Lexus CT 200h with OEM converters. Our V2 comes with an exhaust resonator cover for thieves that may confuse the resonator for the catalytic converter.

Required Tools for Installation: Protective eyewear and gloves, flat head screwdriver, 10mm socket, 12mm socket, 14mm socket, 1/4" bit driver.

Note: Shield may have some surface imperfections. Professional installation recommended.

Cat Shields are a deterrence device that are meant to discourage theft and/or make it more difficult for thieves to steal your converter. Given the right tools, technique or time, a thief can still take your converter. However, by having a shield, you are significantly increasing your protection against converter theft. Similar to a car or home alarm, you are making thieves second-guess themselves and consider moving onto another target. Deterrence works and we have countless customer accounts and video evidence of derailed converter theft.
