Completely redesigned to fit 3 different vehicles. Package includes Cat Shield, installation hardware, tamper-proof screw kit, Cat Shield Protected sticker, and detailed installation guide.

Our Prius Gen 3 Cat Shield™ Version 2 has been redesigned and is now completely bolt-on. This shield fits all 2010-2015 Prius Liftback and Prius Plug-In Trims, 2012-2017 Prius V, and 2011-2017 Lexus CT 200h with OEM converters. Our V2 comes with an exhaust resonator cover for thieves that may confuse the resonator for the catalytic converter.

Required Tools for Installation: Protective eyewear and gloves, flat head screwdriver, 10mm socket, 12mm socket, 14mm socket, 1/4" bit driver.

Note: Shield may have some surface imperfections. Professional installation recommended.

Any undercar product will quickly gain scratches and scuffs due to the location of the product and proximity to the road. Cat Shields are a deterrence device that are meant to discourage theft and/or make it more difficult for thieves to steal your converter. Given the right tools, technique or time, a thief can still take your converter. However, by having a shield, you are significantly increasing your protection against converter theft. Similar to a car or home alarm, you are making thieves second-guess themselves and consider moving onto another target. Deterrence works and we have countless customer accounts and video evidence of derailed converter theft.
